Founded in 1983, Shruti Arts is a Leicester based Association dedicated to promoting South Asian Music and Performing Arts. It aims to foster, nurture and encourage these Arts so that they can be understood and enjoyed by all races and cultures that makes a multicultural Leicestershire such an exciting and vibrant place in England to live in.

Shruti Arts is a non-profit making Association, it has a written constitution and is administered by an executive committee elected annually by its members. Its principal funders are its members, Leicester City Council, East Midlands Arts and Leicestershire County Council.
